I am a California licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Board Certified art therapist. I received my masters degree in art therapy at Loyola Marymount University; awarded the Helen Langarten Scholar award recognizing both clinical and leadership skills. I specialize in attachment and trauma issues. I enjoy working with troubled individuals (children over 9 and adults) and families using the art process to facilitate the expression and processing of difficult feelings. I am a certified trainer of Kinship Center’s Adoption and Permanency Curriculum, The Incredible Years, and Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), and I am an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist. I enjoy teaching and inspiring both parents and professionals to increase knowledge of the effects of trauma on children and adults through trainings and workshops, both locally and nationally, on art therapy and other therapeutic strategies.

I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my master’s degree at the California School of Professional Psychology of Alliant International University in Marriage and Family Therapy. I enjoy working with teens, adults, families and couples. I have experience working with clients of all ages, from children to seniors, on issues that include: grief and bereavement, chronic and terminal illness, students struggling with academic and social challenges, generalized anxiety and depression, caretaker stress, assisting families with changes that arise during adoption and fostering, adults recreating their lives post-divorce, and women’s issues.
